Sarah Josanne Katwaroo – is the Owner and Creative Director of “Sarah Jo Designs” which was established in 2017. This company was inspired by a Fabric Printing Course titled, “Surface Design” which she completed in her Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Art – Visual Arts at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago.
Sarah Jo Designs consists of a diverse range of handmade Totes and Clutches. As the Creative Director, Sarah Jo is responsible for all aspects of this brand, namely:
- Sourcing of Materials;
- Manufacturing;
- Marketing;
- Sales.
Over the years, Sarah Jo Designs has gained recognition, support and love throughout Trinidad and Tobago for its genuine Caribbean aesthetic. A Sarah Jo Designs piece can be spotted from a mile with it bold colors, prints and unique structural design.
Sarah Jo Designs was created from the designer’s intense love and passion for fashion. A handbag has always been a great statement piece and necessary accessory for her. Apart from her personal preference, Sarah Jo Designs continued to develop the creative skill and background of the designer and offered her a means of adding to the Caribbean’s Fashion Society.
